When will Cantera support the computation of the saturation pressure/temperature of an ideal gas mix?

Hi all,

In an effort to create a dew point curve of an ideal gas mixture, I need T_sat to work with an ideal gas mixture. To my understanding, it only works with pure fluids as of right now due to the equation of state being available. When I try using the T_sat method with a mixture, the NotImplemented exception is thrown, as shown in the code.

When will this be implemented?

Thank you,
Ed

Hi Ed

Unfortunately, the concept of a dew point is completely at odds with the concept of an ideal gas model.

It does look like P_sat is implemented in the MixtureFugacityTP Thermo class.  You might try setting something up using the RedlichKwongMFTP class.

Best,
Steven
