Surface Reactions

Hi folks, 

I am currently working on a reactor network to simulate the gasification of char. I want to create reactors, where the solid coal reacts with the surrounding gas. Therefore i need a yaml file containing the surface reactions. Is there a tutorial somewhere that includes features like reactions between 2 phases?
