Hi, I am trying to generate the standard S curve for Perfectly stirred reactor (PSR). I am not sure how to get solutions corresponding to the middle branch of this curve. Is there any possible way to solve the middle branch after reaching the extinction point?

Hi,

To my understanding, this would require a true steady-state solver (i.e., a solver that solves the DAE system of equations for a steady state problem) for our 0-D reactors. Unfortunately, this capability is not something that we currently have available, but it is something we are very interested in.

Best,
Bryan

Hello everyone. Recently, I'm also trying to generate the PSR s-curve using CANTERA. Do you have any update on this issue?

Hi Mark,

A pull request has been submitted to implement a steady-state solver in the 0D reactors.

Other than some checks not passing, I am not sure what the status of this PR is.

Best,
Steven
