Enforcing a fixed axial velocity profile in Cantera

Is there any way to set a fixed axial velocity profile for flames similar to the way it is done for temperature?

I need to use experimental measurements of a premixed flame to calculate axial velocity instead of obtaining it by solving momentum and continuity equation.

If you're dealing with a regular premixed flame, specifying the temperature profile should implicitly set the velocity profile (follows from conservation of mass and ideal gas assumption)?
