Cantera has no attribute Solution

Good day everyone,

I have successfully built cantera from source using scons on windows subsystem linux but when I am getting this error 'AttributeError: module 'cantera' has no attribute 'Solution' when I tested it. Please, can anyone kindly advise.

Hi Francis,

It sounds like you’ve ended up with the “minimal” Python module which only includes the mechanism conversion scripts, due to a missing dependency when building Cantera. I would suggest running the build command as scons build python_package=full. This way, you will get an error telling you what was missing and you can work on resolving that.

Hi Ray,

I followed your advice and recompiled cantera, it built and installed successfully without any error. But the problem occurred again when I tried to test cantera. See the attached files. Please, any advise for me.
