Hello everyone.
this is the first post for me in this blog. these days , i'm trying to build PSR model in cantera for my project. I know there is no PSR build-in but i tried to mimic the code was written by Chemkin developer.
In order to do this task i did the following:
1- run reactor1.m file and get the result for batch reactor.
2-do the same for ignite3.m
3- after getting the exact solution, i added  residence time into the equations as shown in the attached doc.
now i have PSR code but there is no reference  to validate it. please have look to the attached doc and i would be so happy to get your comments.
also, please if you have chemkin software please run it for the same conditions and let us know if there is any difference.
best regards,
AZI

Azi,

I'm not sure why you think Cantera doesn't have a perfectly stirred reactor model. It does. The governing equations are described here:

And you can find an example for Matlab that uses some of the relevant functions here:

thank you Ray,
I was looking for a code without flow devices (user gives the value of tau instead of calculating tau from the mass flow, density and volume).
i think i should build 2 codes (with/without mass flow devices) and see the results of both at the same condition.
thanks for your reply and have a nice weekend
