Dear all,

Please let me know how to install Cantera on Ubuntu 18.04. For some reason, I had to completely format my laptop, so installed directly latest Ubuntu 18.04.
In the way, I lost the earlier cantera installtion and if I try to install, its is complaining ppa error.

Thanks in  advance
Senthil

Senthil,

Can you please copy-and-paste the exact error message into your post, and also a link to the instructions you're following?

Thank you,
Bryan

Dear Bryan,

Many thanks for the reply.
I have changed the OS to Ubuntu bionic but when I install  the PPA repository is still referring to folder artful. I changed this manually in the PPA. and then issued the

I get this output

Hi,

I have not had time to build Cantera packages for Ubuntu 18.04 yet (it's only been out for two weeks). For now, I think the easiest option would be to use the Anaconda packages.

Regards,
Ray
