Hey guys,

I'm about to simulate an 1D non-adiabatic flame for lean methane-air mixtures. I'm solving the flame on a grid with 0,5m length and multitransport model. I also set a temperature to fix the flame near the start of the domain.

I want to include heatloss via radiation and therefor set radiation_enabled = True. As concequence, the flame temperature drops rapidly after the reaction zone and for some cases leads to about 240K output temperature.

Due you have any clue where the mistake my be? Or is it possible to set the 'intensity' of the radiation?

Thanks in advance,
Chris

Hi Chris,

Were you ever able to resolve this issue? If not, could you post your code so this can be reproduced (especially for cases that create the 240K output temperature)? Best,
