Hello tullio,

You can search the documentation for desired functions/classes. Specifically, https://cantera.org/documentation/docs-2.5/doxygen/html/dc/d38/classCantera_1_1ThermoPhase.html#a8fe6bec7a86bc9a3e13541c74e3dd7b4 and https://cantera.org/documentation/docs-2.5/sphinx/html/cython/thermo.html?highlight=equivalence#cantera.ThermoPhase.equivalence_ratio provide the information about how to calculate and assign equivalence ratio in C++ and python, respectively.
