Dear all,

I hope you are doing great,

I would like to ask you if there exists a precompile version of Cantera C++.

I am working in a CFD code and I would like to avoid compiling Cantera everytime in Github for running test cases.
Now, I have to compile Cantera in my local machine before compiling the CFD code, and I cannot add Cantera in the github unit test workflow in order to add test cases that can be used in order to validate and prevent future breaks of the code if someone would like to implement new features using Cantera on it.
I would really appreciate if someone could give some advices/suggestions if this is possible or how this could be done.

Thank you so much in advance!!

Hi Christopher,

Assuming your CFD code is using the Cantera C++ interface, you can install the current version of the library and header files using Conda, specifically the libcantera-devel package. You can find instructions and more information on the Cantera website.

Regards,
Ray
