Happy New Year and I hope all is well by you!

The FSSO will be holding an Easter-themed choral concert on April 9, 2022, with rehearsals on April 6, 7, and 8 at 18:30-21:30, and April 9 dress rehearsal at 10:00.

The program is:

Easter Oratorio (entire) 38'

I'm writing to you to ask if you and your choir would be willing to collaborate with us on this project?

If you and Cantando@bloem agree to participate, you would be the "main" choir of an assembled choir, hopefully comprising of other local choirs (still working on that,) including the Children's Choir, in a true community collaboration.

Erik Dippenaar will conduct both works from the harpsichord (to add to the excitement!)

Baie dankie vir die inligting. As jy oordeel dat die koor die stukke kan bemeester gedurende die eerste kwartaal (skoolvakansie: 18 Maart tot 4 April) kan ons probeer. Ek is so bietjie skrikkerig in die lig van die huidige situasie waar ons omtrent van voor af moet begin. Ek dink ons word gevra omdat ons in die verlede altyd aan sulke geleenthede deelgeneem het. Ons kan kyk hoeveel koorlede beskikbaar kan wees. Ons sal ook 'n oefennaweek in Maart of April moet hou. Ek is seker daarvan dat die Bestuur geen druk op jou sal plaas om dit wel te doen nie. Ons gesels dan later verder.
