to can't look into other people's eyes
Hi,
I have this disorder since 2015. I used to be  a normal person before but the only thing i was afraid was talking to girls..
This disorder started  when i was attending a class in my college. I was constantly starring at the board and didn't even notice my professor standing there. Then suddenly i noticed her looking at me. She adjusted her upper part of the sari to cover her breasts. This hit me very hard as she thought i was starring at her breasts. Initially for the first few days after this incident  i developed fear within me. Whenever she looked at me i started looking right down. It started to increase gradually, i had this fear only with girls but then it started to develop with boys, i started starring at their crouch for no reason and now it has increased to an extent where i do this irrespective of their age and gender. I feel like dying but i also want to live a happy life. I want to marry a good looking girl and get settled in my life.
I also feel sad for many who are affected by this.
I have lost hope in my life completely.
Please help us with a solution if anyone has found it effective.

Hi friend this has to do a lot with our ability to believe in yourself. Very overthinking sometimes but we try to be friendly and honest to everyone. It's time to focus on your mind and spirit. If you can control your mind the there will be no ocd

Thanks for the reply Timotej.
Yes, overthinking is one of the main reasons for this disorder. I am into meditation since my very young age. It hasn't worked for me. Whenever i sit and start to meditate my mind narrows down and creates severe headache. I tried to hit the gym which i found helpful only in shaping my body. It had zero impact on my mind. I also have serious family issues which is not allowing me to open up about this.
I am also not confident enough meeting a psychiatrist and narrate her my story. My mind diverts from what i'm trying to convey.

There are so many factors that affect each and everyone of us suffering from this.

But you have to admit it's greato know that tere are many people like us going through this shit, i know few friends who got psychosis problem from drugs but i'm sharing my knowledge about mind and thoughts with them and I try to help them as much as iI can.

Gym si good choice mate, that will boot your self-confidence . Have you had in your life-time problem looking people into eyes when speaking to them?

I've already visited psychiatrist and she said that i should be building "ego" but that doesn't fit my personality so i changed it to build my own happiness via Hare Krisna videos and texts.
This helped me the most when i got into Hare Krisna wisdoms and started chanting Mantra. Now everytime i got bad thoughs or depressed i sing Hare Krisna mantra in my head. I used to be ateist since then however.

It's time to reconnect with nature. Take of your socks and enjoy grass and differnt muscle usage while walking,

Did you too used to rely on people too much? I used to but it was not inteded. Do you have sometimes low-self esteem like me mate?

Do you have somebody to talk too about this? When i finally told my dad, one big stone fell from my heart and i gained more self-confidence.
If you too don't have many people or somebody who understands what you'e getting through. I've meeted few people with anxiety problems in my friends so we're somehow helping ourself with talk and advices.
If you want to text or skype about this i'm here for you. We can do this shit :D :)

Yaa, I have low-self esteem.
sometimes i try to make up stories and prove my point even though everyone knows it is wrong.
I had many symptoms prior to getting this disorder.
I used to walk in patterns, follow my shadow and so on.
I found these to be symptoms only after reading through https://www.mentalhelp.net/advice/unable-to-keep-eye-contact/ and our group.
I am not sure which psychiatrist i should meet.
