As a result, the agency responsible for the master plan was instructed to incorporate these newly added villages, as well as the Chola railway station, in order to promote planned and inclusive growth in the region.

As per the rules, the state government will get approvals for the draft MP-2041 from the National Capital Region Planning Board. Once the NCRPB gives green signal, then Yeida will engage in urbanization in line with the provisions approved in the master plan.

The region is also estimated to inhabit 41.7 lakh people by 2041, and to cater to this growth there will be a need of eight lakh homes, 1,200 hectares of commercial space and 4,000 hectares of industrial land, the proposed plan stated.
