Hi Yuchao,

I am sorry I have so many naive questions...

I am confused about burnin and thin, I saw your demo code, different demo data( MDA231, toy, toy2) have different burnin and thin value. Can you tell me a goal strander how to set burnin and thin? I have occurred the error, Error in config.summary[i, 1] : subscript out of bounds. I set numchain = 20, should I long the numchain?

If I get this likelihood picture, what value do burnin and thin be set?

Sincerely,

minfang

If you are not sure which values to set or don’t understand what burnin and thinning mean, I would suggest keeping the parameters as default.

Yuchao
