As someone who is very concerned about climate change, I can't help but lament the fact that global awareness is lagging behind and that very little action is yet being taken. That is why I would really like to see for myself the heavy toll of climate change and contribute to global knowledge and recognition. That's why, when I first heard about the canopy researchers, I was really amazed and knew immediately that I wanted to be involved. Indeed, the impact of climate change on this particular and complex ecosystem is a great incentive to act quickly and on a large scale. Moreover, I sincerely believe that policy makers should take more account of scientific research in their work. Therefore, I would eventually be interested in trying to link canopy research to policy making in order to introduce more science into legislation.
I truly believe that being a researcher is one of the noblest jobs in the world, if not the best. Therefore, I would love to take advantage of my inexhaustible curiosity as well as the great multidisciplinarity acquired during my training in order to contribute in my own way to the research that will partly condition the world of tomorrow. Moreover, I am convinced that the great adaptability and the capacity to learn very quickly that I have developed during my studies will be major assets for this research internship. Finally, it should be mentioned that I have loved climbing trees since I was a child, and I am looking forward to sharing this passion with a team that is fortunate enough to have made it their profession.
I you were to be interested in my application, would you be so kind as to read my resume attached?
Thank you for your time,
Hope to see you soon up in the trees!
