A special issue on elevational insect diversity along tropical and subtropical regions

Dear Canopy Science Community Forum members, 

Sorry for posting something not so highly relevant to canopy science, but Roger Kitching (Griffith Univ), Chris Burwell (Queensland Museum), Louise Ashton (Hong Kong Univ), and I are currently running a new special issue, "Altitude Distribution of Insects in Tropical and Subtropical Rainforests", in the journal Forests (ISSN 1999-4907, IF 2.4). We serve as Guest Editor of this SI. We would like to invite you to contribute a paper related to this special issue.

This open-access journal will be an ideal outlet if you or your students have some basic data or ideas that may or may not hit high-profile journals (and this is the very idea behind our decision to proceed with this special issue with MDPI). Please let us know if you want to receive a discount or APC waiver (as it's quite expensive!!! 2600 CHF!!!!!). We will consult with the editorial office about the possibility.
