I've posted a couple pictures, flop2 and flop3. Flop2 shows
the piece I made. Notice that the end over the bar does
not extend but about 1/3 of the bars diameter. This
helps to hold the bar correctly and clear the moving
head assembly. The width of the piece it determined
by the full travel of the head assembly.
Note that I used the same screw that was on the original
piece but didn't have anything in the hole for the stake.
The back side of the stake is also used to space one
of the PC boards but there are more than enough other
things holding it up. A blop of hot-glue would be more
than enough to replace it if needed.
The picture flop3 shows the piece removed and to the
upper right, the key fob that I got the plastic piece from
to make the piece out of.
