I will be out of town for this event, but if someone else is able to go, I would love to hear about it!

Hello all,

Sharing this opportunity that I saw on another Listserv and wanted to pass it along:

On behalf of the University of Michigan’s Adolescent Health Initiative, I wanted to extend a special invitation to our upcoming Connection SessionRecognize, Connect, Support: Understanding Youth Suicide Prevention, taking place Monday, June 1, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. EDT in-person at the University of Michigan's North Campus Research Complex.

This half-day symposium will explore the role of providers and other youth-supporting health care professionals in identifying youth at risk for suicide or self-harm and linking them to supportive services. Through presentations, a youth panel discussion, and roleplays, attendees will gain specific knowledge and strategies to respond to the growing crisis of youth suicide. Continuing education credits are available!

This is such an important issue in our Washtenaw community and beyond, so we would love to see you there! To get a 10% discount on your registration, use code AHINEWS26 at checkout. But the deadline to secure your spot is May 18, so make sure to register ASAP. Whether you can attend or not, please feel free to share the event with anyone in your network who might benefit.

Thanks so much, and don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions!
