IDEA Committee Recruitment

Hi everyone,

We are ready to get the ball rolling on the IDEA Committee again! For those who might not know, the IDEA Committee is the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Advocacy Board Committee, with the ultimate goal of ensuring CAN is living out its core values.

Who would be interested in joining this committee? We're looking for a few more site-specific staff members to round out the group. Some initial groundwork has already been laid, and we have an actionable plan in place so we can dive in pretty quickly. We would meet virtually at least quarterly.

Please reach out if you're interested at all! I'm happy to chat with you about what participation would look like, what work has already been done, or any other questions you may have. I am looking to have a committee formed and a meeting scheduled by the end of this month, so please let me know by next week if you want to help us with this work.
