Hello,
I use PopSearch since several years and it's essential for me

It works very well except one thing : when I'm writing in the search field, I see suggestions in a list But, if I click on one of them, it's not added and the text remains the same.

As you see in the snapshot, I write "Monty Pyt" and "Monty Python" is suggested. But, if I click on "Monty Python" in the list, the list disappears but only the characters I wrote are kept, so the list is useless.

I can confirm this behavior in macOS Sierra. It did work before.

It never worked for me.
All the other functions work very well.

The suggestion menu was always intended to be used with the keyboard arrow keys, not the mouse. Pressing the up/down keys on the keyboard still moves the selection, as it always did.

Nevertheless, I will look into making the click functionality work (again, if it ever did).

OK, I didn't know how to use it, I apologize :-)

I just tried it and it really works with the arrow keys, thanks for your quick answer.

But I think it would be nice if it could work with the mouse. Others menus like on Google or YouTube work with the mouse and I think that many people think "mouse" and not "arrow keys". But I understand your logic : when entering characters the hands are on the keyboard so it's better to keep them on the keyboard.

I also didn't know it was supposed to use arrows. We've been spoiled by Google. The arrows are fine if the mouse can't do it. I love Pop Search.

Okay, fixed it. You can download Popsearch v2.0.13 and reinstall or just let Safari update it for you. Now you can (again?) click on a history menu item to select it, and you can double-click one to search it immediately.
