Popsearch no text appearing

When I write the text to be searched no word appears in the search box
and the cursor don't move from the left position.
However the text is actually written and hitting enter the search
starts.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the extension (last version on safari
5.1.3), but nothing changed.
Any idea?

Vincenzo,
Please try changing the presentation method of PopSearch and tell me whether the text appears after the change. You can change it in the Extensions tab of Safari preferences: click PopSearch in the extension list and disable or enable the "Use extension popover" setting.
