It would be convenient to have an option on the setting where clicking
on any or all OFF-site links on a web will always open in new tab /
window. Similarly clicking on any or all ON-site links on a web will
stay on the current tab / window. I know you have this particular
feature on a contextual menu but one must apply the rule on every
site. The suggestion will make this rule the default. I hope you
consider adding this in to an already superb extension.

Great extension nevertheless. The ability to finally open tabs off a
link in the background is priceless. Thank you.

Yoha

Hi Yoha,

(I replied to this topic in another thread, but I want to put the response
in the right thread.)

Okay, I'll add that.

I use linkthing and have safari open links in new windows by clicking the default command + option + left click but this brings up the new window, in the background but not minimized. Is there anyway you could add an "override" feature that would minimize the new window when opening a link via command + option + left click. Hopefully this is possible and will make it on to your todo list. If not, no biggie, I understand you have a lot of requests and are sharing your extensions for free, please let me know if you think this is a valid request? I only ask as you offer the override defaults for a few options and if this isn't too much trouble the feature would be appreciated greatly... at least by me! Thank you again for your contributions, help, and of course extensions.

Cheers - have a great week and thanks again!

Hi J,

That is certainly a valid request. Unfortunately, Apple didn't provide a way for extensions to minimize windows. Sorry!

No problem, thanks for the fast response. Leave it to Apple, I know if it was possible you could do it, hopefully that changes with future versions of safari.

Do you accept donations via paypal? If so can you send me your email address, I would like to donate. You have helped me a ton with your extensions!

Take care and have a good holiday week/end. - J
