Hi everyone, Currently Netflix is only allowing me to view netflix original content when connected via the vpn. If you search for a non netflix original show, you will find it but only the "remind me" button is available. I am in Australia trying to access the US and UK netflix content. Is there a work around for this? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi thanks for the quick response. The dark knight was just an indicative example but it is the same for all other content although, I had some limited success on the USA South server. It's interesting to see the list of servers in your reply as these options seem unavailable on my list. I have attached a screen shot of the available servers I have. Do I have the incorrect version of the vpn? or is there a setting I need to adjust so I can see the additional servers? I would really like to know how I can access the multiple US and UK servers that you mention. thanks for your help.

Update - Hi, I was obviously running an outdated or different version of the vpn, as I downloaded it again and the sever list updated. The netflix content is now available on the USA servers however, unfortunately neither of the UK servers are connecting to netflix or bbc iplayer at all.

Thanks for explaining the BBC issue. Regarding netflix UK, I can't provide any specific examples at the moment as i can't even connect to the site as the per the attached screenshot. I get the same result with both UK servers. cheers.

Make the most of streaming services - region-restricted content list = list of streaming services that Kaspersky VPN supports. Kaspersky recommends a server location for each streaming service to help you get the most out of your service.

I recently set up an OpenWRT router with client pptp, the router and VPN access work fine, but I can't get Netflix to work on smart tv.
I am using Private Internet Access.
The TV is connected via ETHERNET cable.
Youtube works perfectly, only netfix doesn't work.

assuming this diagnosis is correct ( likely )... the simple answer is "you don't"... the most common/pragmatic solution for this situation is to use Policy Routing to send netflix traffic only over the regular WAN and not the VPN.

You may also let netflix know... as a paying user, that this policy is not to your liking. Good luck with that... but assuming 15% of their user base did this tomorrow and then cancelled subscriptions.... you'd wonder what might result.

Hi there. So I've been using netflix for about a month now and I love it. The only thing that really, really frustrates me is trying to rewind. I know there's a button that lets you rewind 10 seconds, but it becomes very tedious to have to hit it a bunch of times, and wait for it to catch up. ANy help would be greatly appreciated.

I have had this problem too. Can't test right now, but I *think* this is how I get it to work. First, pause the video. Then select the scrubber and flick up or down to change the percentage. This navigates by 10% I think...I'm not sure if there's a way to do more fine-tuned scrubbing. Then double tap (I think I remember that it didn't work if I didn't double tap the scrubber after changing the value). Then hit play, and see if that has accomplished anything. Hope it works!

Ping in games usually sits around the 30-50 mark depending on what game im playing (usually either dota, smite and now some pubg). Problem is when somebody else wants to watch netflix on a smart tv ping generally fluctuates anywhere between about 120 and 220 so is not only alot higher but wont sit at any kind of stable number.

The simple QOS functions on my netgear nighthawk router have not helped to fix this in any way, so my question is with the QOS functions on this router, hyper traffic and anti flood functions, will this help reduce the effect on games that somebody watching netflix will have. Im not expecting it to magically make it so that there is no effect at all but is this going to help the situation.

If you connect it right, and set it up correctly then it will magically make it so that there is no effect. While uploading/downloading my ping only increases about 10ms which you wouldn't even notice while playing a game.

I'm not an expert in BT, but lots of other users here are and could help you getting it setup properly. As you said, put the modem into modem mode which disables any routing capabilities so your Netduma can handle all the devices and stop any chance of lag while gaming. With those speeds using the Netgear for an AP is kinda overkill as the Netduma wifi will do just fine. But if you need 5ghz then sure you can use the Netgear

Last question really, when setup correctly this should reduce the impact on gaming which is great, not to worried about no impact reduced down to a manageable level is great. Will this affect the people trying to watch netflix by limiting the bandwidth and reducing quality or causing buffering, or will the features on the router re-order the traffic so that more gaming oriented packets aren't queued behind netflix and other downloads? Just trying to get an idea of how this works.

As MoD says. When it's working correctly you shouldn't even know when Netflix is being watched or not. They wouldn't notice a difference either, they shouldn't get any buffering. If you use hyper traffic specifically as well then your game will always be the number 1 priority on your network.

Hi, I am evaluating this android port, netflix works but the colors are not right (dimmed, a little darker) is it a limitation of the free version (overlay of the text + effect over video)? BTW it is quite expensive the real version when all you want to do is to plug a RPI3 in your tv and watch netflix, it could be nice to have another pricing that limits the number of apps installed?!

let use another: gnula tv apk. No confusing jumbles of films and you can always find what you want to find immediately. The app also has a dark color scheme which is perfect for nighttime movie searching and watching. Scroll through and discover new favorites or rediscover old classics.

Since a few days (issues might be older, I have not used those site in a while) I canot watch netflix, I get the aparently infamous error code F7121-3078, which aparently means my browser is out of date, which it's not...

I also canot use musescore anymore, for exemple, the page load halfway and then I get a firefox error that this page is slowling it down and ask me to close it. It's the same for every single music sheet, the rest of the website works fine.
