TheSims 4 is a fun life sim game that offers gamers a chance to create virtual characters, Sims, and control every aspect of their life from start to finish. Having the power to customize the Sims' personality and lifestyle makes the game quite interesting.
The Sims 4 has a unique satisfaction points system, which, although, is a little tricky to understand, offers players a chance to earn a variety of awards. Players can earn these points in the game by completing aspirations, whims, and going on holidays. Of course, collecting these points can be time-consuming. Luckily, players don't have to go through all that hassle as they can quickly amass lots of satisfaction points using cheat codes. Here is how to earn satisfaction points with cheats in The Sims 4.
Before applying cheat codes in The Sims 4, players will have to activate them first. Fortunately, it is a fairly simple process that requires gamers to use different key combinations depending on the platform they are using.
With the cheats enabled, players should enter "sims.give_satisfaction_points x", replacing 'x' with their desired number of satisfaction points. For example, if a player wishes to acquire 1000 satisfaction points, they can input the cheat code as "sims.give_satisfaction_points 1000."
While playing The Sims 4, you will be able to complete tasks and earn Satisfaction points. As their name suggests, satisfied Sims will get more Satisfaction points. There are multiple ways to obtain these points, both with and without cheats, giving you a few options to choose from.
In this guide, we are going to go over every way to earn Satisfaction points in The Sims 4. Additionally, we will take a look at what you can do with these points, as you can use them to buy a variety of rewards. First, let's look at the best way to earn Satisfaction points.
Updated December 22, 2023 by Jacqueline Zalace: Still looking to rack up your Satisfaction points in The Sims 4? We've updated this guide with a bit more information about rewards store options, including rewards that are DLC-exclusive.
The best way to obtain Satisfaction points (without cheats) is by fulfilling your Sim's aspiration. This is essentially the main life goal of your Sim; in the image above, you can see that the selected Sim wants to become a musical genius.
By completing the tasks listed, you will receive Satisfaction points. Each aspiration has four tiers for you to complete, with every tier rewarding you with Satisfaction points. Overall, you can earn thousands of points this way.
You will be able to change your aspiration, but it's important to note that the Trait gained from the skill cannot be changed. The first aspiration you choose essentially sets the groundwork for your personality.
Wants will appear based on what is happening around you, but can also be influenced by personality and aspiration. In the example above, our Sim wants to be tipped while playing an instrument because she has the musical genius aspiration.
A simple way to get more Satisfaction points is by using cheats. If you have never used cheats before, you will first need to enable them. This can be done by hitting the following buttons depending on your platform.
With that, you are set to start using cheats in The Sims 4. The cheat for Satisfaction points requires you to type in the number of points that you want. Thankfully, you can type very large numbers, reaching into the thousands. You can find this cheat below.
If you want to have 3,000 more Satisfaction points, you would type "sims.give_satisfaction_points 3000" into the command bar. After pressing 'Enter', the 3000 points will be applied, and you can then spend them in the rewards store.
Now, let's take a look at everything that you can purchase from the reward store. These rewards can be separated by potions and traits; potions provide instant results, while traits are applied to your Sim's life.

There are several ways to earn satisfaction points legitimately, via the whims, Aspiration, and even Seasons holidays systems in The Sims 4. But, if you're in a rush and want one of those shiny reward traits, you may wish to simply cheat to get them. So let's go over the ways Sims can earn Satisfaction, then how to cheat to get them.
The main way to earn Satisfaction in game, at least by the thousands, is to actually complete Aspirations. The game facilitates this very nicely, in that you can change Aspirations as many times as you like. If you're leveling Charisma, pick a social one. If you're Painting or out Collecting, switch to something for an artist or collector. Progress is often tracked even when you do not have a particular Aspiration selected, which means you can switch and often check off a couple of the requirements straight away if you've done tasks in that category before.
Completing an Aspiration will typically get you somewhere between 3,000 and 5,000 satisfaction. Enough for a top-tier reward trait. However, there are a lot of nice ones so you need to do 2-3 Aspirations to afford several of them.
This is where Whims come in. They can help you to get that extra 2-300 you need for a reward. The thing is, whims are now off by default in The Sims 4. A lot of them are really weird and unrelated to what you might be doing, so the devs gave an option to disable them entirely and made that the normal state.
To re-enable Whims, head to the menu (ESC) and go to Gameplay in the Game Options menu. From there you can check, "Show Whims". If you're playing to get as many points as possible, you may as well. The Whims will sometimes fire based on what you're currently doing, so you basically get free points not even paying attention to them! On the flip side if you occasionally look over, you will see whims that line up with your current goals and can take the opportunity to pin them to make sure they stick around so you can get rewarded.
Completing Holidays in The Sims 4 Seasons will give your Sims satisfaction points. What is more, you can make custom holidays as well. It's not a huge reward, just worth noting. Also babies born from having a baby with Father Winter will get more Satisfaction from completing Whims!

Reward traits from the store are not the only rewards you get. If you simply get Satisfaction then ignore Aspirations, you're missing out. Several really good rewards come from Aspirations. To cheat Aspirations do the above and use the Aspirations.Complete_Current_Milestone cheat to skip over the current requirements and immediately get the full reward and go to the next aspiration milestone. There are typically four for each Aspiration. Press the up key on your keyboard right after you do this, and you can rapidly skip levels and get Satisfaction points that way.

There is a new platform tool in The Sims 4. There's also a new Sentiments system, but it'll take some time to create a guide to that. Players can also use rental lots in any world now by changing lot types of builds in manage worlds.
I now have a guide page to Tiny Living Stuff where you can learn about Murphy Beds, the new death, as well as the lot bonuses you'll receive if you manage to keep the size of your lot down with this new pack's Tiny Home Lot Type.
This was inspired by a series, "Let's Play a Super Sim" in which I start at toddler and gradually take on the major bonuses. Here's a link to each part for people who are interested. You can also see the Let's Play as a Playlist on Youtube.
The Sims 4 Discover University has been announced for November 15 for PC/Mac and December 17 for Xbox and Playstation 4 consoles. Click to learn more about the pack, see my summary of the livestream or read our FAQs below.
yea i agree. playing for like 1 or 2 hours gets you the same RP & SL as a 15-25min RB match witch is extremly unfair and not worth your time.
now ok the modes need to be revamped but thats not the point. im talking strictly about Rewards in SIM
The other thing is the cap on the useful actions, while spawn costs are not capped.
You can loose 100k in 15 min when the enemies camp you, but never get more than 20-30k, even if you have 10 kills and 2 captures.
TBF, im not even sure its cheaters at this point. Rockting bases is so absurdly good for grinding that i got a 20k game for 3 sorties, whcih took about 20 minutes. I think if they removed the sp you get from rocketing bases they would see that the stats they are getting for bombers that supposedly show that they are over performing would then show that is was this that was causing the jacked rp and sl rewards. Because i can safly say, bombing is not nearly as good, or even possible, as how gaijin put it. so it must be the rockets.
