I just recently started using the cAndy Apple emulator on my HTC
Raider and absolutely love it. However I can not play Wizardry I.
Whenever I go to create my characters I get an error message "There is
no room left ...". As I recall from my Apple //c days this means the
disk is write protected but I did select Read/Write when I inserted
the disk.

I have also made sure that the files are not write protected and even
tried extracting my copy of the scenario disk from the zip file with
no results. Has anyone else encountered this or have any ideas of
what else I can try. Searching online has produced no results.

It shouldn't matter but I have the files in a Wizardry_I folder in the
candyapple\diskette directory on my SD card.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Well I got it working. The original scenario disks from my old Apple //
c came with one prebuilt party but apparently the disk images for it
is chock full of characters. That's what I get for assuming. :)

All I had to do was delete a bunch of them.

Excellent!  Are those characters like 30 years old? :-)

I have no idea as the scenario disk I ended up using was from the
Asimov FTP site. Their disk apparently comes preloaded with as many
characters as would fit on the disk.

Great place to look if anyone is needing a very high level party or
need more Apple // disks.

good to know!!  I don't think I ever made it past level 3..  but i remember how vivid the memory was.  I did complete the Bard's tale 1-3 though.  To think we used to draw all the maps out.

does anyone remember what the apple2 game was where you're in a labyrinth and a Minotaur comes after you?  I think he charges and you have to get out of his way or something.  Maybe that was wizardry.. i'm not sure now.

Yeah mapping used to be half of the game which is why there were
teleporters, magical darkness, spinners and the like. Makes mapping a
lot more challenging. :)

As far as the game with the Minotaur , I have no idea which game that
would be. Doesn't sound like Wizardry to me but I only got the 1st
and most of the 2nd Wizardry games completed.

Yeah I remember Bards Tale as well but I only ever had the 1st one.
That is next on my list after the Wizardry series.
