Itypically take calls through my headphones, where volume changes work as expected. However, if I disconnect my headphones to listen to the meeting through the laptop speakers, the volume changes. For a split-second the volume will be at the correct level, and immediately afterwards will reduce so low that it's almost impossible to hear (think listening to headphones without having them in your ears).
i'm having the same issue, i was using an IPAD and when I discovered that the volume is very low, I opened the laptop instead of IPAD and logon to teams to discover that the volume is also very low, which means that the issue in the teams itself!!@Ian_Lewczynski
@Diabolo Having the same issue today (12/21/2020) with all of my TEAMS video meetings this morning. I use an iPad Pro with the latest software updates installed. My volume is at 100% in order to hear others in the meeting, and they all say they can barely hear me / each other.
Starting today the Teams volume on my IPad became too quiet. My Windows machine does not have this problem but I think the video/audio microphone is better than my external camera/microphone on my Windows machine and I usually prefer it.
I also have the same issue. In fact, when I start the Teams desktop app all my sounds on my laptop drop to a low level and then go back to normal after 30 seconds. When I start a Teams call the sound is set to a very low level. The level in Windows shows 100 but I almost can't hear other speak.
@ThereseSolimeno I tried looking at that link and it didn't help unfortunately, my speakers are still very quiet despite being fine yesterday and it being a new laptop, and my setting are on the maximum output
Hi there,
I was wondering about the max Volume in Manjaro. Its like really quiet compared to my old Win installation. Does anybody knows this problem?
Actually its even worse on my old Lenovo Thinkpad W530. Seems like max Volume is about 50-60% of the actual volume.
This issue has been faced by many individuals but this is not something that can't be fixed, with right solutions applied it can be easily fixed, There could be several possible reasons why your AirPods are so quiet, and some here are some ways to fix them.
Basically, it came down to ear wax blocking the mesh speaker cover. You can use a brush or other objects to wipe it away, but this does not clear the wax that is deep within the mesh. I found this out by putting my mouth over the end of the AirPod and gently sucking. I noticed that there was almost no airflow Coming through the mesh. So, I took a Q-tip and doused it with rubbing alcohol. While holding the mesh towards the floor, I generously rubbed the mesh with the soaked Q-tip, and then took a dry Q-tip to wipe away the alcohol. I did this a few times to make sure it was thoroughly clean. Again, I placed my mouth over the end of the AirPod, and gently sucked to remove any excess alcohol, and to see if the airflow had improved: it had! Considerably I might add. While they may not be as loud as they were when I first purchased them, they are much better than before using the alcohol.
Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand you're having issues with the volume of your AirPods. Try the steps here to see if they resolve the issue: If your left or right AirPod isn't working - Apple Support
I kinda thought it was a technical issue instead of a hardware issue. Did what you suggested as a desperate last try before buying a new pair and when I tried back it was extremely loud. I'm glad I found this thread :)
I've tried everything under the sun to try to improve the loudness of the headset. The volume of it is just extremely low even on the loudest settings. Maxed out, the audio bar just jumps to about 50%. Please help!!!
How you see the device in control panel -> properties -> advanced section will depend on how you are connected. When wireless 2.4, it should be grayed out at 8 ch/48000. Of course, that does not mean you have control over the channels. When wired, you have some choices.
This random audio issue i'm getting in grim dawn is really starting to annoy me, missing sounds, now i've noticed sometimes if you keep still for a while the volume increases by quite a lot, then activate sound by moving or picking something up and it goes quieter again! i've since found that since microsoft released update KB4515384 see link it mentions about audio issues in some games
I don't know if this is a Corsair issue or a Microsoft issue as i've only had the headset a week or so and haven't been playing anything for a month or so so this update would have come through not long ago. I can't tell whether KB4517211 fixes the issue because windows 10 says not supported when i try to install it manually from here..
Either way i need answers within the next week or i'm afraid i'm going to have to send them back for a refund until these issues get resolved. Which may be never considering theres only been 1 firmware from corsair and that only presumably fixed 1 charging issue.
Do you have the KB4517211 update installed that apparently fixes audio in some circumstances? If you do then this is a Corsair issue, i noticed from what little i played with the cable attached didn't notice any issues after half an hour or so but sometimes it was in wireless for that length of time, it was a bit random.
i got my headphones today and i plugged them in and was extremely disappointed at first. i was hearing crackling sounds, the audio was waaayyy to quiet and worst of all it sounded muddy. after updating the firmware, i went into the playback tab in the sound control panel, went to properties on the headphones and turned on the spatial sound. after that, they sounded so much better
im returning these and getting steelseries. i loaded overwatch and the game sounded horrible. i feel like there shouldnt be these many issues with a 200 dollar headset. i have to do a million workarounds to get these to sound good
My HP Pavillion dv6-6c10us Entertainment PC volume is so low that I can hardly hear it! Listening to music and looking at videos or movies is extremely frustrating because I can barely hear the sound. I have done an extensive sound check. All of the sounds are at maximumsettings. Is there some type of flaw with the sounds on this laptop? When I purchased it about 6 months ago, I did expect to be unable to barely hear from the speakers. I need help, this very, very frustrating!!!!!
Thank you so much for the support. I was able to apply the instructions that were given to me, to correct the situation. It is so encouraging to me, that I could get the help I needed. I appreciate your expeditious response.
Right click on sound, go to "Playback devices". Then right click on all devices and "disable sound". After this, right click on the sound device for instance for me it was "Communication Headphones" and click "enable". This will force the device your using to restart and function correctly.
Speed of sound is always relative to the material the sound propagates in; it moves faster through denser media, such as the aluminum structure of the aircraft itself. The aircraft's structure moves with the aircraft, so the vibrations of the jet engines will be transmitted to the cockpit/cabin at the same speed as when the airplane were flying subsonic.
The air inside the cockpit is still, and so sound within this local bubble is unaffected by the speed of the bubble itself (and so sound can travel faster than sound). If this weren't true then radios and other cockpit sound sources like alarms would be inaudible at supersonic speeds, which would be a major safety hazard and tactical disadvantage to supersonic flight.
I have flown at 1.3 and what does change is the airflow around the aircraft, changing the flight characteristics of the jet. The handling of the jet becomes much more stable. If your jet could aileron roll at 360 degrees per second subsonic, it now lumbers through a roll at perhaps 120 degrees per second. Your only real indicators of going supersonic are seeing your pressure instruments (airspeed/Mach indicator and VVI) momentarily jumping as you pass M 1 and the fact that your shiny little rocket now flies like a 172, albeit considerably faster, higher and cooler.
Clean them, you may not see that they are dirty or blocked but thats what typically happens when volume is limited in one ear. Take a qtip, some hydrogen peroxide and clean the earbuds, and i say use peroxide because you can see it bubbles and breaks down earwax.
But what worked for me and resolved the issue more or less straightaway was using Blu Tack. I simply removed the silicone eartips and pushed the grill part of the earbud into a loosened up ball of Blu Tack several times and with each press into the ball, the Blu Tack pulls out wax and other residual build up much deeper inside the grill section. After several indentations of this the grills were very clean and the sound returned. Simple, easy, clean, no fuss.
Thank you so much, I have no idea why that worked but it did! (Soundcore Life A1) I needed to disconnect them from my PC after doing that and perform the reset procedure on both but after that it worked fine.
