Crossover Spacing and Deletions

Hi everyone,

I'm currently trying to understand how some of the input is processed. The cadnano-files you submit assume internally a crossover spacing of 10.5 which is the default value for Cando as well. However, to reduce mechanical stress, you delete certain bases, so that the spacing is effectively 10.66. The question now is, does Cando calculate this internally and i should keep the 10.5, or do I have to change the value for the crossover spacing to 10.66 in Cando as well?

I couldn't find a documentation, otherwise I would have looked there first.
