My messages from Ron

It was sooo good to see so many of you tonight. I left to join the candidate’s reception but unfortunately he lost. It is now the town’s loss that he was not elected.

Below is the note I found written by Ron buried with his papers. I could not figure out why he wrote this, especially in red. He always used a specific liquid ink black pen or a pencil. So I believe he is speaking to me.

The second picture is mail I received yesterday. Kind of spooky but also heart warming.

Must we wait 6 months to see each other again? We didn’t even get a chance to hear from each of us before I left.

Miss you too much to wait that long!

Janet, it was great to see everyone, and thank you so much again for your generosity. I love the attachments you sent; Ron has always been and will always be an honorable member of our group.

A number of us are currently going through some rough times, both cancer and not-cancer related. It is more important than ever, I think, that we not neglect the important connections we have with one another and how they can help each of us both individually and as a group.

In that spirit, remember that anyone can suggest a meeting date by simply sending an email to: cancer...@googlegroups.com

Even if we can't get together, keeping in touch is so important. Send emails; share sorrows and joys and just the everyday details of living. I know how grateful I am for this group and I know you all feel the same. As Janet says, let's not let such long stretches of time go by in the future.
