The file that the user sent in January 2018 was found to have a number of CDA schema errors, which I suspected was the cause of the problem. I recommended that they start by fixing all of those schema errors first, and let us know if they still received the error.
The IG conformance testing does not currently include validation against the underlying CDA schema, so you’ll have to use an XML editor or some other similar tool, and associate the files with the CDA schema (you find the schema in the IG download package on the HL7 website), to identify schema errors. If you send me the files, I’m happy to do the same on my end and provide you feedback. But I highly recommend that you implement this as part of your development process on your end, as it will be the best way to identify whether you’ve fixed all of the issues and is critical to ensuring that you have correctly structured CDA documents. If you fix all of the schema errors, and still get the exception error, please send the new files so we can debug the issue.
Thanks,
Wendy

Great, glad you were able to identify the issue. I agree that it’s odd for issues like this to cause javascript errors. So, can you send me the file so we can debug?
Thanks,
Wendy
