Today, we join communities across the nation in commemorating Juneteenth, a day that honors the ongoing pursuit of equality and opportunity for all.

“Progress is most powerful when it lifts everyone.”

At the Cancer Center Informatics Society, our mission is rooted in the belief that innovation in oncology is strengthened when diverse voices, experiences, and perspectives come together in service of patients, families, and communities. As we work to advance cancer informatics, artificial intelligence, clinical research, and data science, we recognize that meaningful progress must also include a commitment to expanding opportunities for the next generation of leaders.

On behalf of the Cancer Center Informatics Society, we wish everyone a meaningful Juneteenth as we celebrate freedom, reflect on our shared history, and continue working together toward a future defined by hope, opportunity, and excellence in cancer care and research.
