Founded in 2012 Ci4CC is intended to provide a focused forum for innovative engagement of senior and executive cancer research scientists, biomedical informaticians and Data Scientists, and Research -IT leaders, primarily aimed at community and academic cancer centers anywhere in the world, but with the strong emphasis on NCI-funded and designated cancer centers. While each of our cancer centers is structured differently and our titles vary, we anticipate similarities in the issues we face and the solutions we achieve. 

Also referred to as the American Society for Cancer Informatics, Ci4CC is the nation's leading innovation hub for cancer data science and informatics.  Our focus is broad, touching every aspect of Innovation tied to Precision Oncology, Real World Evidence Data, Cancer Research, and Patient-Centered Managed Oncology Care.  The recent focus has been Precision Medicine, Oncology Networks of Networks, Molecular Clinical Trials, all associated infrastructure,  and especially  OMICS.

In addition to this Google Group List Serve , we have an established Consortium which meets twice a year, once in the Spring and once in Fall. Our bi-annual symposium and workshop events focus on the strategic and pragmatic issues that face each of us as informatics leaders at our respective institutions and in our respective cancer centers.  We also hold monthly educational free webinars https://www.ci4cc.org/webinars
