Since I insure everything with AAMI, and thought that before I went shopping
I'd check out the insurance factor as one of the input criteria..

Well AAMI Canberra said they will not insure a Toyota Soarer (AKA Lexus)
because the
bolt holes might not match up on panels. It's much too hard for them.

So who do people insure with, what does iinsurance cost for a
Silvia/Soarer/Skyline and what repair experiences have people had?

And who are good people to buy imports from (no trader responses please)?
I've seen a lot of variety on prices at various web sites, with not a lot of
info. Anya really good URLs would be appreciated. I know SAVUE has some,
but they appear to be pretty pricey.

I'm not after a revhead car - something that is comfortable and safe, with a
little grunt when it counts. Gotta be able to get away from them 4WD drivers
;-)

There is a magazine in Newsagents, called 'Japanese Import Buyers Guide'
It has heaps of good stuff in it. You should still be able to get it,
but it will get pulled of the shelf this month (Oct), so be quick. If
you can't get it, I have a copy.
