+Note 1: MFS Bush Dance Details+
All MFS bush dances are open to the public and are fun nights for
everyone. You don't have to dress up; you don't need to come with a
partner, all the dances are taught; and from 8pm till midnight you
will be treated to music from top local and interstate bands.
There is no need to book, just turn up at the dance in casual dress
and comfortable shoes for a great night out.
Admission to dances is $12, $10 concession, $8 MFS members, youth
14-18 $6, children under 14 free.
For groups of ten or more - just let us know the name of your group
and ask members to quote that name at the door to obtain the
concession price.
Supper:
St John's: please bring a plate of goodies to add to the supper table.
Yarralumla Woolshed: You are welcome to bring your own nibblies,
drinks and chairs.
Tea, coffee and cordial are available in each case.
+Note 2: Dancing in the Park+
Dancing in the Park provides free informal bush dancing on summer
evenings. Dancers and musicians of all standards are welcome to join
in. Mondays at 6:45pm in December, January and February on Stage 88 in
Commonwealth Park. Excellent dance floor, all weather venue (Contact

+Note 3: Settler's Night+
SETTLERS NIGHT AT THE MERRY MUSE: This is your opportunity to dance
the dances of the Australian European settlers to the music of the
settlers. The evening operates as a Family Dance night. Sets of
Australian Dance Music are put together and played by Mulligan's Flat
with the help of whomsoever wants to turn up for the evening.
6pm: Informalities begin with a session. The session is your chance to
learn and play the sets. Those sets will then form the basis for a
night of dance.
7.45pm: The Bush Dancers display group rehearsal, all welcome to join
in these popular dances.
8pm: Dance
Musicians Free MFS members $4 Non-members $5 Children Free. Session
sets are based on a play list of collected Australian dance music,
copies of which will be available at the club. Any other tunes or
