Hello CAAA Google Groupies,
Martin has been working recently for Forrec, the Theme Park and Planning Group. Here is a link to a Muskoka, Ontario project that features one of Martin's designs on the main page. Note the float plane in the upper left!
http://www.forrec.com/urp_musk.htmlI am preparing to attend a lecture at the Toronto Reference Library on the Allied Bombing of WWII. It takes place on the evening of Jan. 26th. The Library has kindly allowed me to piggyback on a talk by a local historian. We will have a display table and a couple of easels. John Walmsley has kindly offered to provide a couple of paintings for an informal "Show and Tell". I have lots of brochures from Layne to hand out to interested members of the audience with the CAAA Website address added. Don Connolly has sent me a CD that my son Graham has made into a slide show. I hope there will be time to run it after the lecture. The event is virtually free for CAAA.
I will be interested to see if there are any hits on the website or any messages to the Association after the Jan. 26th event. I may consider doing another one in the Spring, hosted by CAAA (Martin and I) with an author of our choosing. If we host it ourselves, we will be able to set the schedule, choose the topic and set up the display to best demonstrate what you all do. The down side is that there will be some expenses.
I'll keep you all posted.
Elizabeth (Martin's wife)
