The May issue of AV should be in the mail on Monday, 16 May. It is a
little late but I was waiting for
information on the conference.
When I took over as Editor back in Feb 2002, I had to scramble to fill
16 pages. When I had that
conquered, I moved to 20 pages and felt myself lucky if I had half a
page of unused material to carry
forward to the next issue. When I finished cutting-and-pasting the
current issue, I had an unbelievable
NINE pages available for the August issue. Since I have already been
promised an additional four
pages of copy from member/authors, and after subtracting pages 1, 10
and 11 (which are basically
all photos), I will only have FOUR pages to fill up with material I
have to generate from scratch.
What a luxury that will be!

Well, that's certainly a step in the right direction. I hope we can
maintain that and continue to build on it.
