Hi,

I'm attempting to run Canasta Create and am getting a couple of errors ( See the attachment for a screen shot of the command and output:

As soon as I execute the  sudo create command I get  error statting /root/.config/canasta (no such file or directory).

I'm them prompted for the admin credentials and it appears that canasta is downloading all of the required files. However after the message "pulling web (ghcr.io/canastawiki/canasta:1.2.1)... I get the following fatal error:
read tcp 192.168.0.23:42130 -> 185.199.110.154:443 read: connection rest by peer
A fatal error has occured during installation

any help would be appreciated

Thanks,

James

Hi James,

This looks like an issue with your network when you were downloading the Canasta image. Please try the install process again.

By the way, that "error statting /root/.config/canasta" is a fairly meaningless error message that you can ignore - we're hoping to get rid of it soon.

I recreated the linux vm (ubuntu 22.04)  and reinstalled docker, docker-compose and  the canasta cli .  I followed the instructions for the Canasta Create ommand as follows:  sudo canasta create -i ACTW  -w  "ACTWIKI" -a admin -o docker-compose  .
I specifically omitted the -n param   so the server per mylocalsettings.php file is https://localhost, However, when I go to the url, it returns an http  error 500 indicating localhost can't hand;le the request
I ran docker container  ls -a and the only thing that jumps out at me is that the  container for /run.apache.sh  shows status unhealthy.

I am stumped why the canasta  cli command line install isn't working

Hi James,

The -n param doesn't just set up the LocalSettings.php correctly, it also sets up the .env file in the base directory of your Canasta installation.
