We have been focusing primarily on iOS and shipped a beta version on Android since last summer. We have been waiting for the mobile market to shake up, and I think this was the right thing to do because it did.

We will release the version of our Android (2.2) code generator shortly. Then we will rewrite it for Jelly Bean.

jj,

I do agree on the point of being locked into some middle where, which bothers me some, but then how long is that app viable too and  you may just throw it away but it got you down the road a bit.

I also agree on the IOS/android dominance and MS will struggle, that is why I gave up on my windows based phone a few years ago.

To be frank I thought Microsoft had a chance to come back, even two months ago. Android was good but not "untouchable"(so to speak), but after seeing Jelly Bean, Google Now, the Nexus 7, I think they might even get better than iOS in 12-24 months. At that point I think there is no amount of money Microsoft can throw to come back, they are 5 years to late and lack execution. The fact that the Lumia 900 is not upgradable to Windows 8 killed them. There is not a customer, an operator or a device manufacturer who is going to trust them.
