Equipment Certification

Hey all, 

Just wondering how the different spaces are handling tool certification. If there are any tools you have that are dangerous/specialized enough that require certification of any kind, how do you ensure members are given the right information about the equipment? 

We've struggled with this for a while now and have previously relied on particular members who would administer the certification process. They would let us know when a member had received their certificationon a tool. 

We're looking to improve this process a bit more. I would personally like to see a bit more detail in what is being instructed. It would allow for refresher courses at a later time and also help when we're ensuring members who are newly offering to help with certification are covering the same material as those before them. 

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
