With total surprise and amusement, I read S. ISMUB Secretary of NY Sector, Acarya Abhiramananda Avadhuta's letter in regards to the GTA Bhuktii Pradhan Election. For the record, I received this letter only today (March 22) and according to the given instructions, the last date of nomination for General Bhukti Pradhan candidates is March 23, 2016.
How can this request be taken seriously by the electoral Margiis and local Acaryas when there was an evident abuse of election rules? The sectorial administration and regional coordinator broke the spirit of fairness, respect, transparency and inclusiveness, omitting a sincere attempt to prepare respective margiis and potential candidates for the election.
I oppose to this kind of superficial election process and kindly advice all margiis to boycott this type of distorted process. Considering the serious organizational identity crisis within the margii ranks and disrespectful attitude of the sectorial office towards most senior margiis in Canada, this type of election will be pointless and counterproductive.
I would like to remind everyone that over a year ago the unfriendly or rather hostile takeover of the Board of Directors of Ananda Marga Canada had happened. Since that time, different groups and alliances formed, causing an internal crisis. The main perpetrators of the conflict never apologized to the affected margiis. Instead of helping to solve the crisis, local acaryas had chosen to hide and never contacted those who they directly or indirectly had hurt.
In the spirit of Ananda Marga ideals, please do not make a mockery of this important BP Election process.
The sectorial administration and margiis who undermined the authority of the previous Board of Directors and senior margiis must apologize for their negative actions. The reconciliation committee should be formed and
all parties in question should meet to resolve the crisis. Only then, an honest and inclusive election should be called for.
We only recently learned that new SS of NYS was appointed. Unfortunately, none of the senior margiis were contacted by the new leaders.
How can we go forward with this type of mindset?
At this moment, there are three different DC's with margiis that take place in the GTA. The margiis within these groups are not necessarily in contact with each other. I don't believe that this is the appropriate time for such an important event.

I was never removed from this position. Unfortunately, the Sectorial Officer had nominated another, acting BP without any margii consultation and electorial participation.
