Hi All,

On Friday we had met with Javier, and discussed the direction of our work so far.  For Monday we are to refine our drawings, if you feel they need to be refined.  Emphases should be on Precision, and should reflect a cultural change and aspect of our house.

Please, if anyone has any questions or comments please make them known.

Regards,
Aaron

Dear Spanish G1
After receiving individual comments on your V2 (the Canadian G1 will have tutorials tomorrow Monday), please contact the rest of the Group explaining your opinions.
In that way the assignment for tomorrow is more coordinated.

hi everyone,
Have we decided on what cultural change we are going to focus on? I feel like it could be something simple like the parents get a divorce, (as well as the children move out and the grandmother dies). Japan is in the top 5 countries in the world for divorces now. One in four marriages end in divorce in Japan.

Anyways if anyone has comments or ideas that would be great. I'm working on adding a reflection of cultural change to my drawing, however I wasn't sure what our cultural change was.

Hi everyone,

I think that cultural facts and the story which we are telling, both are done now, and it`s the last text done. I think is better to focus in our drawings and improve them like our teacher have told us.

What do you think about that?

I was told we don't have a modern day 'cultural fact' in our story yet....Grandmothers dying and children moving out have always happened...neither are new to the 20th century.

It cultural aspect I chose to work with out of our story was the idea of forced early retirement that was instigated after last year's earthquake.

This will open up what he does with his time.

I'm not sure if this helps anyone, but it is what I'm working with... for now.

Cheers,
Aaron

I'm working in the same topic, the forced retirement and its influence on the house, and I think it is an actual cultural fact, because we searched for information and we can base it on a recent change in Japan.
