There is what I think we have to do.

The story we have done not have cultural/social arguments. We have to examine how the social situations had changed and aply this changes to our story. We are looking for substantial changes in Japans life, the use of new tecnologies, privacy kinds, comun hobbies, globalizations changes and other things wich can justify the development of the story. For that, I propose each one of us re-write the story including cultural arguments and underlining this factors so the rest can see  and judge them. Then, we could create the final story.
