The Twins

The First Continental Congress is where delegates from twelve British
North American colonies met on September 5, 1774, in Philadelphia.
The Congress was represented by 56 members appointed by the
legislatures of the Thirteen Colonies. The Congress met briefly to
consider options, organize an economic boycott of British trade,
publish a list of rights and grievances, and petition King George to
address those grievances. The Congress called for another Continental
Congress in the event that their petition was unsuccessful in halting
their perceived enforcement of the Intolerable Acts of King George.
Their appeal to the Crown had no effect, and so the Second Continental
Congress was convened the following year to organize the defence of
the colonies at the onset of the American Revolutionary War.

"The Hit" thought about his trip to Philadelphia before he made his
call to Calvin. The software he had conceptualized was designed for
people in the United States that dominated world affairs. The Reserve
Basin was a legacy of conflict. The Americans were barely out of
Vietnam before they were in Korea after two American soldiers were
killed by North Korean soldiers in the demilitarized zone between
North and South Korea while cutting down a tree. Then, they were in
Lebanon in 1976 with helicopters evacuating 250 Americans and
Europeans from Lebanon during fighting between the Lebanese. Then in
1978 in Zaire the Americans decided to meddle in supporting the
Belgians and French. What really started to sicken him about his
customers was their position in Iran in 1980. Operation Eagle Claw
with President Carter used of six US transport planes and eight
helicopters in an unsuccessful attempt to rescue American hostages
being held in Iran. "The Hit" considered whether he should be working
with Americans who fought for the Shaw or Iran which was a brutal
dictator who arranged the sale of oil to Americans, cheaply?

Roofing

MJ and "The Hit" had enjoyed good times together as he worked on his
house trailer so he could sell it as a livable mobile home. It was
just after one of hockey's greatest goals with just over one minute
left in the game that they became romantically involved. Gretzky,
Lemieux, and Murphy led a rush down the ice to the net, and Gretzky
passed perfectly to Lemieux, who fired the puck past Soviet goaltender
Sergei Mylnikov to give Canada its third Canada Cup championship.
Soon after "The Hit" helped put a new roof on MJ's mobile home with
MJ's father, her friend Jock, and a few of MJ 's friends. That is how
MJ was able to get in touch with "The Hit's" brother Leo in St.
Brieux. MJ needed shingles for roof, and Leo had enough shingles left
over from his house for the new roof. MJ's father helped out by
buying the shingles from Leo for the roof! That's how this circle was
joined. The question was still what did MJ call about after all these
years.

"The Hit" finally received the Canada Post notification that he had a
parcel at the Kensington Square Mall postal outlet located in the
Shoppers Drug Mart. Garth gave "The Hit" a ride to Shoppers Drug
Mart, and "The Hit" received his parcel from Saskatoon. He opened his
"present" to find a very carefully made photo album of Cayla's
history. He brought the album out when his friends Bob and Garth
visited him downstairs on N Ranalagh Avenue. "The Hit" kept them up
to date on the upcoming Christmas trip to Saskatoon, as he showed them
the photo album. The album documented her entire life to her current
age of nine. The album included pictures, letters, and stories. "The
Hit" shared his plans with them for Christmas, and the software
project would be going on hold for a few weeks at the end of December
in 1997 for Christmas. Meanwhile,
"The Hit" listened to Bob's and Garth's Christmas plans, and he was
getting excited about upcoming trip to Saskatchewan.

At 910 Victoria Drive "The Hit" walked back into the house using the
balcony door. He walked up the stairs to his suite. He sat down and
thought about what just happened. The Clan from Clavet had
intentionally shared information with the 4 junkies, and they did not
save the 4 junkies when the home invasion occurred by warning their
friends. They trapped the pawns, and they had no choice but to work
along with the Clan from Clavet. Now, Becky, Kevin, BJ, and the rest
of the Clan from Clavet had different people walking on to his
property. The phone call "Is Clay there." These 5 men were not the 4
junkies, and these 5 men were not the Clan from Clavet. "The Hit"
realized he would have no future whatsoever if he shot the Hell's
Angels or the Cartel. Then he thought about the gun amnesty. He had
checked the hours on the door at the Britannia Policing Station. He
decided to try to make it to the Britannia Policing Station at 1661
Napier Street. "The Hit" decided to turn in the gun, and he decided
once again to tell the Vancouver Police Department what their
informant was doing in Vancouver.

On Saturday December 6 TH, Bob picked up "The Hit" in Burnaby to give
him a ride to the Pacific Central Station to purchase his ticket for
his trip. Saturday was the final day he could buy his departure
ticket for December 20 TH to Saskatoon with the discount. "The HIt"
was always unsure how it seemed he could not move without some sort
recognition. Perhaps, it was the Black Van? In any event, he had to
prepare for the Christmas trip to Saskatoon. Perhaps, it went as
further back from when he was followed home to Burnaby. There were
the situations on Columbia Street in New Westminster before he was
followed back to Burnaby when he lived on Manitoba Street. Whenever
he was moving about, it was like someone had shown his picture all
over Vancouver. Then that did not explain why some faces seemed to be
becoming repetitive? In any event they started from Burnaby to 1150
Station Street for the Pacific Central Station in Vancouver.

New Year's Eve

The New Year's Eve in Saskatoon began with sweeping and power washing
the underground parking lot with Donny. "The Hit" only had a small
hand pushed sweeper, and he rented 2600 LB power washers to power wash
the floor membrane through the night into New Year's Day 1983. It was
a horrible job, and even worse there was not enough money in the
budget to pay for enough labour or costs. "The Hit" struggled through
the winter, and he was relieved by the spring weather on the
prairies. The relief was short lived as it became was time to expand
again. Tom flew in from Vancouver early in the spring for a week, and
Tom was able to find a lot which he rented on the corner of 3 rd
Avenue South and 21 St Street East in Saskatoon. This 4 th lot would
be staffed during the day from a parking booth, and during the evening
hours Saskatoon would get it's first coin operated metre parking by a
private company. The parking company wanted to see many of these coin
operated meters returning tickets for coins.

Hinton Alberta

The Canadian Train approached Jasper as the time zones changed from
Pacific Time in British Columbia to Mountain Time in Alberta. The
Canadian Train took a one hour rest in Jasper, and The Hit walked to
the Liquor Store near the train station. The Canadian Train pulled
out of Jasper towards Hinton Alberta where the mountains gave way to
the prairie flatlands. Jimmy The Junkie, Little Mike, Mike, Jeff and
the Mysterious Financier raised support in the Shuswap Lakes,
Revelstoke, The Rogers Pass, and Glacier National Park. They were
setting him up as the Canadian Train traveled through the unique
Spiral Tunnels that climb through Cathedral Mountain and MT Ogden. It
was early in the evening on December 21 st 1998, and The Hit felt like
there was worms crawling in his stomach. He could see what was
happening. Jimmy The Junkie, Little Mike, Mike, Jeff, and the
Mysterious Financier were definitely setting up the Hell's Angels.
The Hit finally fell asleep late in the night, and he awoke as the
Canadian Train arrived in Hinton at 0948 in the morning on December 22
ND.
