New Brunswick Web site on 50th annniversary of Universal Declaration

The New Brunswick Human Rights Commission (Canada) has set up a Web site
in English and French on the 50th anniversary of the Universal
Declaration of Human Rights, which occurs in 1998. The site can be found
at:
http://www.gov.nb.ca/ael/rights/rights/humphre1.htm

The site includes a list of ideas to mark the 50th anniversary of the
Universal Declaration, as well as a biography of John Humphrey, the New
Brunswick native who wrote its first draft.

It also includes resources for teachers and workshop leaders on human
rights and the 50th anniversary and a list of days throughout the year
that offer opportunities to consider human rights issues.

The site is primarily aimed at New Brunswickers, but may be of interest
to others as well, especially in Canada.
