The assumption that the natural gas production curve will drop off
with a cliff, is based on three assumptions, as I understand it.

1. The productive life of new wells is growing shorter with each new
discovery.
2. The quantity of gas in new discoveries is expected to continue to
decline.
3. The number of new discoveries is expected to run out abruptly at
some point.

In local news, some of the most expensive suburbs in North Texas are
now seeing natural gas drilling. The situation is so desperate now
that even wealth, and attorneys is not preventing the wealthy from
having their backyard views being disturbed by drilling.
