There is a new newsgroup called alt.support.wheelchairs which I think some
of you will find useful. I hope it provides many years of valuable
information to the internet users that spend at least part of their lives,
or know somebody that spends part of their lives, in a wheelchair or on a
scooter.

Please ask your Internet Provider to provide access to you if it isn't
automatically added to your lists of available groups.

The address that is used to request a newsgroup varies. Usually it is
news@xxxx or support@xxxx where xxxx is your ISP. Perhaps,
ne...@infonet.isl.net or sup...@infonet.isl.com. And, when all else
fails, postmaster@xxxx should *always* be a valid address read by a
human.

The message can be very simple:
Please add new group alt.support.wheelchairs

Sincerely,
Bruce Hendrickson
