Hello ,
i am not sure if you are goingt o be able to help with my question but i

a hoping that someone in your office or someone you know could give me
some insight into this problem.
History:
My daughter has had seizure since she was 2 years old , at first they
thought that they were just fever caused seizures and had her on
Dilantin but the seizures continued. She had a cat scan and EEG sone but

everyone of them came out clear . She is not on depekene and hasn't had
a seizure since Oct 98. she wets the bed every night and seems to be
slow in alot of areas.
I have always known something was wrong with my daughter but no proof.
Now she is 5 and in SK and really behind , She seems not to be like any
other children in her age group or class. The school is testing her but
haven't found anything wrong other than delays. She also has cross eyes
but has had 1 operation but they have crossed again.
I live in a major city in Ontario ( thunder Bay ) but am having
prioblems getting the tests i want done to be done. I have resquested a
MRI and another Cat scan as the last seizure she seizured for 35 minutes

and the doctor has told me that she doesn't need those tests done as she

had one tests done after her 2nd sezures and that it is unlikely that
she has any brain damage . i feel as i am not getting the medical
attention that my daughter deserves as i am a young mother and low
income. I am wondering if you would have any idea of a doctor in my area

who would be interested in looking at my daughter or any idea of what
could be wrong with her so i have idea of what to ask the doctor. I have

told him all these thinigs and he just seems not to listen. I do not
want my child to go through life with all these delays when they could
have been helped. Please email me back , if you have any answers or
comments .
Thanks for all you can do
a VERY worried Mother
Christina
