The good news is that our membership drive is going very well. The bad
news is that because of the weather last night, quite a few interested
parties could not come out as they had planned.

So, we have decided to leave our doors open for the month of January.
Come on out. Have a listen. See if you like what you hear. Questions?
E-me. Thanks!

T.

Sorry ladies - we're looking for male singers, but is there a guy in
your life you could pass this along to on our behalf? Your partner?
brother? father? a colleague at work that hums to himself at the water
cooler? Thank you.

We are the Northern Stars - a men's a cappella group, based in Nepean,
Ontario, Canada, and we are accepting new members every Monday in
January, from 7 - 10 pm. We sing in 4 part harmony, a
capella. We really enjoy singing a wide variety of music styles -
uptunes and ballads, contemporary, gospel, broadway showtunes,
barbershop, even some of your favourites from the 50's, 60's, and 70's.

There is no formal "audition" but I will have to hear your voice to
determine what section in which you should be placed (bass, baritone,
lead, or tenor).

If you're nervous about singing, or just plain skeptical, then you
should know that singing in a big group of guys is VERY different from
trying to carry it all by yourself - less intimidating and more fun!
Just come out and have a listen - see what we're about. If it's not for
you, no hard feelings!

If you are "a singer", I promise that we will keep it interesting for
you - quartets, vocal exercises, quality instruction, opportunities to
help teach, whatever it takes to keep you - the member - happy.

If you think you might be interested, please get back to me, and I'll
respond with directions.

Thank you - I really hope to see you there.

Sincer'lead,

Tony

Amazing that, especially since I live south of Chicago.

Draw a line, go ahead.
