Disabled Vietnam Vet Denied Weapon Purchase In Background Check Debacle
Leon Puissegur
Disabled Vietnam Veteran and award winning author Leon Puissegur,
was turned down for the purchase of a weapon after a NICS check
result. This was despite a successful gun purchase just the year
before, and during which time nothing had changed that should have
affected a successful check. It turned out there was a totally
fictional misdemeanor on record from 1972, proven eventually to
have been false, and yet FBI records have not been amended and
updated.
So, read this man's account
[
http://jpfo.org/articles-assd03/nam-vet-nics-debacle.htm ] and stop
to decide whether any enthusiasm you might have ever had for
background checks is actually so wonderful after all. Extend this
further -- imagine a national firearms registry database full of
errors. Not only might your guns be up for confiscation but even
worse, every chance you might be arrested for not surrendering what
innacurate records say you have, when you fail to comply!
Yours in Freedom, The Liberty Crew at JPFO
