You were asking about the Husqvarna rifles - there are a few models listed
in my blue book of guns. The 7x57mm was available in the Series 3100/ 3000
Crown Grade ,4100/ 4000/456 Lightweight, Series 6000 Imperial and a few
other grades. The .270 was available it all those grades as well as the
Hi-Power grade and the Model 1951.If you could give me a complete
description on the gun then I might be able to narrow it down a little.
Include any markings you can find along with barrel length, type of wood and
style of stock, type of sights, if any and any other features such as
engraving etc. These guns seem to have been made between 1946 and 1972.

Hi Rob.I measured the barrel lengths and they are both 23" from the front of the
breech and 26" from the back. They originally had the standard iron sights and I
would guess they're no more than 7 pounds if I removed the scopes. There are no
medallions or significant markings. They are both top loaders(non-removable
magazine).I think I told you one is a .243 Winchester and the other is a 7mm
Remington magnum.

How does this sound: Series 3100 Crown Grade - available in .243 Win., .270
Win., .30-06, 7x57 or .308 Win. Improved HVA Mauser action, 23 in barrel,
walnut stock, black forend tip and pistol grip cap Mfg. 1954-1972 (all this
from the 22Ed. of the Blue Book of Gun Values) Series 3000 Crown Grade
similar to 3100 except has Monte Carlo stock. The book does not list any
rifles that came in 7mm Rem Mag but does list a Model 9000 Crown Grade
similar to the 3100 Crown Grade except also available in .300 Win Mag,
Husqvarna action, 23 1/2 " barrel, adjustable trigger, adjustable sight,
walnut stock Mfg 1971 - 1972. If one of these doesn't sound like yours then
it is possible that the book missed a model or two or you might have a gun
that was never intended for the export market. You might even have a gun
that was custom built or modified sometime during its life. Sorry I can't
give you any more info but I hope this helps you in some way.
