Broken Rapala's

Hi all ,
I been doing some trolling with floating Rapala's and I've had 2 broken . I
assume that the plastic lip is hitting rocks and snapping off .
My question is as follows : Can these be fixed ? I'm a real cheapskate when
it comes to Rapala's , I just refuse to lose ' em , so I'm hoping someone
can point me towards a way to fix ' em .

In theory Yes you can reglue the lips.
However those lures are flimsy things and I doubt they will ever 'run true'
again.

Send them back to the manufacturer, along with a nice letter detailing how many
rapalas you own and how you love the product but are disappointed when the
lips break from bouncing along shoals. Pretty soon you should have some brand
new replacement rapalas in your mailbox.

_I'm_ not saving anything when I buy my permit :-) , and the new boat is
nickel and dimeing me ( and lots of toonies too !!! )
